How Do You Know When You Actually Understand a Difficult Math Topic? (2 อ่าน)

6 ต.ค. 2569 14:22

I’ve noticed that there’s a big difference between being able to follow an example and being able to solve a similar problem on your own.

Sometimes a concept seems completely clear while I’m reading through the steps, but as soon as I try a new question without looking at the solution, I get stuck. What helps me most is doing a few practice problems from scratch and then checking exactly where my approach went wrong.

I also sometimes look through resources related to calculus homework help when I’m trying to understand how more difficult problems can be broken into smaller steps.

How do you usually test whether you really understand a topic? More practice questions, explaining it to someone else, or trying harder problems without notes?
